The school started with morning prayer . The class went well and the day was rewarding. I took the class as scheduled. The topic of the lesson was ' Impact of Media in Social Life : Formation of public opinion.' The origin of the idea was the need to move beyond simply identify media's role and focus on the critical process of how media actually manufacures or shapes public perception - a key concepts in the media and social reflection unit. The focus shifted from how media works to how media influence beliefs and democracy. The outcomes requiring the analysis of bias and identification of media techniques were successfully achieved by the majority of the students.
English quiz was conducted in the school auditorium were the high school as well as upper primary students were participated.

The lesson plan was prepared on the topic ' Media and consumption behaviour '. The origin of the lesson plan was from the chapter Media and social reflection. The lesson plan was prepared to explore the unseen technique used by media to promote conspicuous consumption and brand loyalty,linking it back to the curricular object of societal influences on behaviour. Unlike the previous lesson on public opinion which focused on social political influence of,this lesson focused on economic and psychological influence. It was more tangible for students. I were able to achieve the set outcomes. Students can now completely dissect an advertisement and explain the difference between genuine need and manufactured want.
As part of physical education I conducted a Yoga sessions for the class. Bhujangasana and Hasthauthanasana were taught them .

The lesson plan of today's lesson was 'Media and Stereotypes ',from the seventh chapter Media and Social Reflections. The core idea for the lesson originated from the recognition of how easily students internalise fixed ideas about gender and occupation from fictional media and advertisement. This lesson was most emotionally charged of the unit, requiring more management of students opinion. It moved from abstract social influence and consumption behaviour to the very personal issue of identity and representation. I were able to achieve the set outcomes. The students demonstrated the ability to critically analyse media content for hidden biases and effectively create an advertisement,challenging narrative.

The lesson was prepared on the topic Media and social intervention from the chapter Media and social reflections. The primary motive for this lesson was to counter the largely negative focus of the previous lesson by demonstrating the powerful positive potential of media in society. The goal was to shift the students perspective from passive critique to active creation. The students were able to articulate the components of a successful intervention and apply that knowledge to design their own.

The lesson plan was prepared on the topic Media and Technology as interwined forces in modern communication. The lesson went well. The class was rewarding. This lesson was distinctly future focused and allowed for the most open ended ,practical application of the unit concepts, moving from the what of media to the how and why of its future form. I believe the set outcomes were successfully achieved.
