School Intership Phase I Week 5

After the onam vecation the school has reopened on 8 september 2025. The classes were took based on the previous schedule. I have took class on  the topic Directive Principles of State Policy from the 5 chapter Constitution of India Rights and Duties. The class went well. I have used Information Communication Technology (ICT) for imparting the lesson. I have prepared slides and videos for imparting the lesson Directive Principles of State Policy. The lesson went well. I believe I have achieved the learning outcomes. I have used a assement quiz in kahoot for assessing the level of learning of the students.

The lesson was based on the topic Fundamental duties from the chapter Constitution of India Rights and Duties form the scert social science textbook. The lesson went well. I have prepared the lesson on the basis of advance organizer model. The content objectives of the lesson were to define and understand the concept of fundamental duties.and to list eleven fundamental duties enshrined in the Indian constitution. And to relate the concept of duties with that of rights. I have used a concept map to strengthen the cognitive system.

Today I have started a new chapter from the eight standard textbook,called Resource utilisation and sustainability.

The lesson was prepared on the topic Resources,natural and man -made. From the chapter 6-  Resource utilisation and sustainability from the scert textbook of social science. The lesson went well. I have used discussion, interactive lecture and question answer method for imparting the lesson to the students.

School 'SARGAMELA' were conducted. I have got an opportunity to monitor the students who were participating in the program. Different art and craft works were made out of scratch.

The lesson was based on the topic Renewable and non renewable resources from the Chapter 6 Resource utilisation and sustainability. The learning outcomes were set accordingly. Interactive lecture, group discussion and brainstorming sessions were used to impart the lesson. The session went well.

The session was started as scheduled before. The lesson was based on the topic Minerals and its classification, metallic and non metallic minerals. The lesson went well as planned. In the session there were interactive lecture, discussion and map reading activities were included.I believe I were able to achieve the learning outcomes.

A chess competition were conducted in the school for selecting competent contestants for District wise school chess competition. I were there as a part of monitoring and coordination the programme.
