School Intership Week 7

Week 7
The school internship program has completed its seventh week. The week went very well. The lively atmosphere of school as well as the classroom environment made the week fruitful.
22- 09-2025
As per the schedule I took lesson for the class eight standard.the lesson was prepared on the topic Conservation of Resources and Sustainability. The lesson went well, it was prepared on the basis of jurisprudencial model of teaching, to address value conflict related to resource use ,a departure from traditional lecture method. I felt I could achieve all the learning outcomes. The outcomes related to awareness and cognitive attitude towards solving conflict were achieved.
23-09-2025
The lesson plan was prepared on the topic 'Different forms of media - print media' .The lesson went well and the classes took as previously scheduled. The lesson idea originated directly from the social science textbook chapter on  Media and social reflection. The lesson was moved away from factual history or civics content and focused heavily on critical media analysis. 

24-09-2025
The lesson was prepared on the basis of the topic 'Different forms of media - Broadcast media' . The lesson went well. The class atmosphere was lively and energetic. The was rewarding.the lesson ide originated from the social science chapter 7: Media and social reflections, focusing on a core concept that students encounter daily. The topic explores the one way nature and simultaneous mass media of these traditional media forms. This lesson has stronger focus on conceptual visualization via the flow chart diagram and a more interactive conclusion. Through the think pair and share .
Arivulsavam quiz competition was conducted at the school auditorium. High school and upper primary students were participated in the session. The session was fruitful and I got a pleasant opportunity to monitor the quiz activity.

25-09-2025
The lesson plan was prepared on the topic 'Digital Media as different form of Media'. I have initiated the lesson by recalling the previous lesson on broadcast media and asking about commenting on news, which led to a discussion on TV, WhatsApp on Social Media. The lesson was planned to introduce students to digital media and differentiate it from traditional media, focusing on its revolutionary power, two way communication and social interaction on digital media. The learning outcomes were achieved.The lesson was structured into an introductory part, developmental phase and a concluding phase. The lesson was highly activity oriented and directly applied the concept to the students digital lives.

The lesson was prepared on the topic ' Forms of media- Social Media ' form the seventh chapter of social science textbook Media and Social Reflection. The lesson's core focus was the role of social media in interpersonal relationships and public opinion, recognising that social media has become an integral part of modern life.  The lesson introduced the complexity of two way communication, focusing not just information transfer but on interpersonal relationships, public opinion and societal influence. The core outcomes on functions , interpersonal role and influence on public opinion were successfully addressed through scenario based discussion.

8-09-2025 After the onam vecation the school has reopened on 8 september 2025. The classes were took based on the previous schedule. August 04, Monday Today I took the lesson on the topic basic economic problems,what to produce,how to produce and whom to produce from  chapter 4- Basic economic problems and the economy . The lesson went good and rewarding. Today was a special day as the Hindi Department organised an poster making competition as a part of remembering the eminent poet Thulsi das. I have got an opportunity for monitor the activity. August 05, Tuesday  Today I taught about characteristics of economy and different types of economies.  The lesson went good. August 06, Wednesday  The lesson which I took was about the topic Economics - Ideologies and proponents- Western from the Unit 4,Basic economic problems and the economy. Apart from that as a member of UNAI CHAPTER UNIT, MOUNT TABOR TRAINING COLLEGE we have organised a Hiroshima day rememberance programme.
